Ashton Hancock and Miley Yip for Student Council
Why we’re Standing for Student Council
We’re standing for Student Council because we believe every student at TRC deserves a voice that is heard, listened to and acted upon.
College decisions affect all of us, and we should have a meaningful say in the things that shape our everyday experience. We want to make it easier for all of us to raise concerns, suggest ideas and know that somebody is actually taking them forward.
If elected, we’ll work to create a Student Council that is visible, approachable and accountable.
We won’t promise that we can change everything. What we can promise is that we’ll listen, represent your views, push for realistic improvements and keep you updated on what happens next.
